Testimony
She played a pivotal role in staff meetings, offering valuable insights on safeguarding and mental health awareness, and she was instrumental in providing key resources and signposting both children and families to the appropriate services. Her proactive approach to addressing these needs ensured that families felt supported and understood.
She also used various therapeutic approaches, such as Drawing and Talking therapy, Ngage assessments, and CAF/Priority Families assessments, these showcased her ability to adapt to each family’s unique circumstances. These interventions were thoughtfully tailored to the individual needs of children and their families, aligning perfectly with our school’s ethos and priorities. Moreover, Sarah consistently adhered to school policies and procedures, ensuring that her work not only met but exceeded expected standards.
Working in a multi-agency capacity, Sarah was exceptional in fostering relationships with external services, ensuring that our school was well-regarded in the community. Through her initiative, she brought in additional resources and services to further support the well-being of our children and families, strengthening our trust’s reputation and reach.
Finally, as a team player, Sarah was both collaborative and supportive. She built strong, positive relationships with colleagues, always ready to lend a hand, offer advice, or share her knowledge. Her ability to work cohesively with the team and still provide personalised support to each child and family made her an invaluable asset to our school.
I wholeheartedly recommend Sarah as a dedicated and passionate family support worker. Her contributions to the children, families, and staff she worked with were outstanding, and she will undoubtedly continue to make a significant positive impact wherever she goes.
Sincerely,
Mrs Hayley Keen – Headteacher
