What is Clinical Hypnotherapy and what happens in a session?
Clinical Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic method that uses hypnosis to support individuals/clients with various issues and improve their well-being.
A hypnotherapy session will include a trained therapist, guide a client into a relaxed, focused state of mind, called a trance.
While in the trance, the clients’ subconscious mind becomes more open to suggestions and ideas, which can help with their area they have requested support with, like reducing stress, managing pain, confidence building with certain situations e.g. passing an exam or test, overcoming phobias, changing habits, or improving self-esteem.
The process involves:
Induction: The therapist helps the person enter a state of deep relaxation, using a variety of different techniques that best suit the client. This can include Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Rapid Induction etc.
Suggestions: The therapist offers positive suggestions or guidance related to the person’s goals or issues.
Awakening: The person is gently brought back to full awareness.
Hypnotherapy is considered a complementary treatment. It’s important to work with a qualified and certified hypnotherapist to ensure safety and effectiveness. Hypnotherapy is not a guarantee alone of fixing the issues or concerns of the client, Hypnotherapy is a tool to support them through their journey.

Workplace Well-Being Support
With many years of experience in focusing on and enhancing individuals’ overall well-being, I’ve identified gaps that can exist in the workplace — often unintentionally. These gaps may arise from limited financial resources, uncertainty about how to provide effective support or concerns about getting it right.
On the employee side, barriers can include fear of being judged, job security concerns or uncertainty about how sensitive information will be handled.
These insights have shaped this aspect of my business, and I’m eager to collaborate with you to identify any gaps or areas for improvement in your workplace.
Together, we can develop tailored solutions to ensure appropriate well-being support for your employees. The key is to create an environment where everyone feels safe, heard, and supported.
